Once a year Progressive Grocer magazine devotes an entire issue to honor the independent grocer. This promotion piece invited advertisers to join in the celebration. A die-cut creates the cover's lone red bar.

These pieces were mailed every week to tell advertisers why Multi-Housing News magazine is the place to be. To cut printing costs, they were run simultaneously on one side only. "Covers" were created with the help of an accordion fold.

Pepperidge Farm's frozen puff pastries combine with colorful confetti to keep retailers up to speed on upcoming promotional events. Lift one panel, far right, and three pastries are revealed. Lift another, below right, and we lose the right hand pastry to make room for the media schedule.

Another three panel piece, this time to announce Champion Paper's new extrusion coating line for paperboard food containers. Think cartons that keep orange juice fresh up to 40 days. Lift the cover and you get the two panels below. Lift again and you see all three panels, complete with a curved pocket to hold a sample of the actual coated paperboard.
